Originally a solo project from Cameron Ferguson; a singer songwriter from the historic Highland town of Tain, brittle is now a four-piece with members from across Scotland. Blending alt-rock and shoegaze with epic boy/girl vocals, lush synths and a powerful rhythm section, brittle are a promising prospect.

Career highlights include performing on the main stage at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, and recording a live session on BBC ALBA, after winning the broadcaster’s talent competition that champions musical talent from the Highlands and Islands. They’ve also sold out shows in Inverness, Glasgow and supported  UTR favourite Declan Welsh and The Decadent West.

Their new single Breathe out 1 May, was produced by Calum Edwards at Brookwood Recording Studios and mastered by Jamie Holmes (Gerry Cinnamon, Joesef, Indoor Foxes, Theo Bleak).

They headline The Old Hairdressers in Glasgow on 5 June, The Tooth and Claw in Inverness on 6 June and play Dornoch Beer Festival in July see https://www.instagram.com/brittle_band

Showcasing Welsh talent alongside international acts, over 250 emerging artists will perform across 20 stages for 25,000 attendees throughout Wrexham from 7- 9 May, marking the 16th edition of FOCUS Wales.
