INTRODUCING: Manchester trio Dakota Avenue
Manchester trio Dakota Avenue consists of J, Frank and Andy. We first met the band as they sold-out hometown shows via UK-wide touring network Off Axis and we’ve been fans ever since. They’ve gained airplay from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, XS Manchester and they’ve played festivals including Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Dot To Dot, Blackthorn Festival, and Ethiad Stadium (home to Manchester City Football Club). They were also due to perform on the Off Axis Woodlands Stage at Kendal Calling prior to Covid-19 ruining everything.
This year they’ve supported the Music Venue Trust with a live stream and a percentage of sales from their merchandise. They managed to record a couple of new singles in between restrictions and have been working with producer Andy Gannon (Fickle Friends, Robbie Williams, Clean Bandit). We predict a bright future, watch this space (Q&A coming soon!!)
