Positive Interactions

Tommy Perman is no stranger to appearing in our column in The Scotsman or to creating genuinely interesting music and projects.

Just last year Perman, Simon Kirkby and Rob St John released Sing The Gloaming / Blackford Hill) they’re dab hands when it comes to creating music-inspired art, including the Cybraphon, (housed at National Museums Scotland in Edinburgh) a musical robot which combed the internet for reviews, then adapted its sounds accordingly, and a chocolate single which could be played on a turntable.

His latest is Positive Interactions an album made entirely from happy sounds sent to Perman by 50 friends from all over the world. The album is available in exchange for emailing a short message about something that makes you happy to: happy@positiveinteractions.space – you’ll then receive a download link (check your spam if you can’t see it)

You can read more about the project at https://positiveinteractions.space/about/
