For fans of The Cure, Alvvays and DIIV, Aberdeen quartet Moody Moody consists of Levi Kelman, Jack Nisbet, Phil Collingbourne and Marc Culley.
Recorded at Glasgow’s Castle of Doom and produced and mixed by Jamie Holmes (UTR favourites like Joesef, Indoor Foxes, Theo Bleak) and mastered by Simon Scott (Slowdive), their latest single Versions was released on Friday and perfectly captures their epic quiet/loud, tense, atmospheric sound.
They’ve been championed by Charlie Ashcroft on Amazing Radio, The Skinny, with readers of SNACK Magazine voting their single Feels Like This as Single of the Year with it also appearing on the hit Channel 4 TV show Made In Chelsea. Additional radio support has come via DKFM, Denmark Street Radio and stations as far afield as New York’s WFDU HD2.
Moody Moody have performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and have a sold-out hometown debut under their belt. They headline Cafe Drummonds in Aberdeen on 4 April with support from Glasgow’s BRSR and local act Delirium. Visit https://linktr.ee/moodymoodyband
