Hit The Road is back after more than 2 years | 15-17 March 2022


Hit The Road is back after a 2 year hiatus due to the pandemic.

From 15 - 17 March 2022 Sam Dee (17-year-old based in Larkhall), Jenny Czerniakiewicz (18-year-old Edinburgh-based artist) and Jasmin Jet (17-year-old Falkirk-based songwriter) will perform in Glasgow at Websters Theatre on Tuesday 15 March (TICKETS), Edinburgh at Assai Records on Wednesday 16 March (TICKETS) and Falkirk at Behind The Wall on Thursday 17 March (TICKETS).

SAM DEE

17-year-old singer songwriter Sam Dee has Zimbabwean heritage and is based in Larkhall. She gained experience performing and building a fanbase by uploading music to YouTube and Instagram and singing at her local Church. Her songs My Dear Love and Crying Out Loud were featured on Amazing Radio and she headlines Websters Theatre in Glasgow for this Hit The Road tour.

JENNY CZERNIAKIEWICZ

Originally from the Black Isle in the Highlands, 18-year-old singer songwriter Jenny Czerniakiewicz is currently based in Edinburgh. The young artist is studying music at Edinburgh Napier University. She has performed as part of our sister project, Musicplus+ Landmark 2021 festival, secured airplay on Amazing Radio and will release singles Soot and Greggs in the next few months.

JASMIN JET

Hailing from Falkirk, Jasmin Jet is a 17-year-old Scottish/Turkish singer songwriter. With an emotive voice, and a wide variety of influences, she has already achieved some important career milestones. Performing at Glasgow’s King Tuts, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Vibration Festival and the TV show The Voice also scouting her to participate. Jet is working on recording music for release later this year.

Initiated and run by Scottish Music Centre and funded by Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) and PRS Foundation, Hit The Road provides early-stage musicians age 14-19 the opportunity to learn about the live industry before embarking on a professionally managed tour.
